A little bit about me:
Hi, I’m Shaela —a creative strategist, video editor, and storyteller based in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in turning brand strategy into scroll stopping content, with over five years of experience creating for DTC brands like Harry’s, Jones Road Beauty, and Dose. I turn insights into impact, creating content that connects on both an emotional and strategic level.
In 2024, I drove 3,000 miles from Massachusetts to Portland on a whim—having never set foot in the Pacific Northwest before. After living in Boulder, New York City, Boston, and spending time abroad in Spain and Bulgaria, I knew I wanted to put down roots in a place that aligned with my values: nature, creativity, and community. Moving to Portland definitely feels like the home I’ve always been searching for.
When I’m not working, you can find me hiking in the Gorge, knitting at my local yarn shop circle, journaling over coffee, or making music with friends. I’m currently diving deeper into content marketing and product strategy while pursuing a graduate certificate in the Athletic and Outdoor Industry at PSU.
No matter the project, I’m driven by a love for storytelling and a desire to help others feel seen, inspired, and connected.
